History
WorldSkills Kenya was ratified as the 84th Member state to WorldSkills International during the bi-annual General Assembly held on 13th October 2020. The membership application was made in February 2020 through the Ministry of Education.
Following its ratification, the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) was designated by the government of Kenya through the ministry of Education to take responsibility for the leadership, management and daily operation of WorldSkills Kenya. Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority- TVETA is therefore the official organizational agency representing Kenya at WSI.
WorldSkills Kenya is therefore planning and coordinating Skills competition events locally, continental and globally.
